A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to shoot the San Franciscan apartment of Jordan Ferney and her family for Oh Happy Day. The photos were recently posted on A Cup of Jo, and I'm excited to share just a few over here.

When you love where you live so much (SO MUCH), it's easy to forget that there are other great places out in the world as well.
This past week, we had a chance to take a quick trip down to Southern California to play in the sun with our family. Atticus clung to grandpa and grandma's side, my shoulders became red with warmth, and Justin took in all of the beautiful scenery. We love it down there. As much as we have become accustomed to incredible fog and breathtaking cityscape, not much can replace running around a backyard with family at your side.

I've missed blogging. Really. This space of the internet is amazing and wonderful, and scratches a need to visually share with friends, family, and people I have not yet met (who I just assume are amazing and wonderful). Also, we are going through an incredible transition phase and it seemed like a good time to type out a few stories. Mainly, our new apartment (it's great!), our new city (Berkeley y'all!), and the woes and triumphs of supporting ourselves in our respective creative fields (except for Atticus, of course, he is still adorable and hilarious (see above photos)).
Until next time....
(above photos taken on the San Francisco Ferry to Sausalito while indulging in a delicious cookie, it's a great little trip if you ever have the chance to take it, with or without a cookie.)
